It was an awful day (heavy rain) with almost no wind. We needed to row to get out of the port, and outside we did not have many chances to practice anything as wind was very weak (or ineffective), So basically standing under the rain while one steered the ship.
I notices mainly the difference after my second lessons, where we spent a very good time practicing several exercises with good win, and starting learning really things.
So summary of first lesson was: few learning and lots of cold. Second one was much better.
